1. Overview

We stand behind SynciZen and want every customer to be fully satisfied with their purchase. To that end, we offer a straightforward, no-questions-asked 30-day refund policy on all license purchases.

The short version: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund — no questions asked. This exceeds the 15-day free trial period, giving you ample time to evaluate SynciZen before committing and even after.

SynciZen is sold through Polar, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. All payments, invoices, and refunds are processed by Polar on our behalf. When you purchase SynciZen, your transaction contract is with Polar, and you also agree to Polar's Consumer Terms.

2. Trial Period

SynciZen offers a 15-day free trial that provides access to all features of the application. The trial period is designed to give you enough time to thoroughly evaluate SynciZen and decide whether it meets your needs.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the full trial period before purchasing a license. Your 30-day refund window starts from the date of purchase, so you have additional time beyond the trial to continue evaluating the software and request a refund if needed.

3. Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, the following condition must be met:

  • The refund request must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date.

If your request falls within this window, it will be approved without any questions asked. No reason or justification is required.

Important: After the 30-day window has elapsed, no refund requests will be processed, regardless of the circumstances. The free trial period plus the 30-day refund window together provide substantial time to evaluate the application fully.

3.1 — EU & UK Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the transaction date, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and equivalent UK consumer protection law.

Digital content exception: SynciZen is digital software delivered immediately upon purchase. By completing your purchase and initiating the download or activating the software, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download or transmission begins, as permitted by EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16(m)) and equivalent UK law.

This statutory waiver does not affect your broader 30-day money-back guarantee described above, which you retain in full.

3.2 — Your Statutory Rights Are Not Affected

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer with respect to products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose. Those rights remain fully intact regardless of any other provision of this policy.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The email address used at the time of purchase
  • Your order or transaction reference number (provided by Polar in your purchase confirmation email)
  • The date of purchase

Once we receive your request, we will verify the purchase date and submit the refund through Polar promptly.

Note: Because Polar is our Merchant of Record, all refund payments are processed by Polar — not directly by SynciZen. We are unable to issue refunds through any other payment channel.

5. Processing Timeline

After your refund request has been approved:

  • The refund amount will be transferred back to your original payment method.
  • Polar will process the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after approval. Additional time may be needed for your bank or financial institution to reflect the credit.

If you have not received your refund after 2 weeks, please check with your bank first, then contact us for further assistance.

6. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refund requests will not be processed in the following cases:

  • The request is submitted more than 30 days after the original purchase date.
  • The purchase was made through a third-party reseller — in such cases, please refer to the reseller’s own refund policy.
  • The license has been revoked due to a violation of the terms of use (see Section 7).
  • Evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour is found (as determined by Polar).

7. License Misuse & Violations

Any misuse of SynciZen — including but not limited to license sharing, redistribution, reverse engineering, circumventing licensing mechanisms, or any activity that violates the terms of the license agreement or applicable policies — will result in:

  • Permanent and immediate revocation of the license key with no possibility of reinstatement.
  • No refund will be provided for licenses revoked due to policy violations, regardless of when the purchase was made.
Note: We reserve the right to investigate and take action against any suspected misuse. By purchasing a SynciZen license, you agree to abide by all applicable license terms and policies.
